For a dining experience that soars to new heights, make a landing at Hangar Lounge Restaurant and Banquet Hall, wholly owned and operated by VFW Burns Post 388.  The entire facility has been completely remodeled, and features a unique aviation themed atmosphere for your casual dining, or special events with a capacity up to 400 people, and ample parking for all. 

Food is served at Hangar Restaurant Monday through Thursday from 11-8, Fridays and Saturdays till 9.  Hangar features business lunches designed to get you in and out in less than 30 minutes, or feel free to stay longer and make use of the free Wi-Fi. 

There are daily lunch and drink specials, including an exceptional Friday night Fish Fry.  Anyone 62 or better is also welcome to senior discounts.  

The lounge is open Monday-Saturday till standard closing time, and features entertainment weekly.

All proceeds at Hangar Lounge Restaurant and Banquet Hall go toward local charities, and national VFW work on behalf of our military veterans. 

Hangar is located near downtown Wausau at 388 River Drive, and is easy to get to.  From the interstate, take the Highway 52 Parkway exit and continue east on Stewart Avenue toward downtown.  Just across the train tracks is River Drive to the right.  You can also access River Drive from Thomas Street, and travel north to Hangar Lounge Restaurant and Banquet Hall.
